Jessikah took on a short term babysitting gig with my 7 month old granddaughter who was visiting. I appreciate that despite having to take an uber to work she was nearly always on time. In the beginning she played and read to my granddaughter which was great. But later she really phoned it in— letting the baby play by herself and only moving her when she’d crawl up to a table. Twice we overheard her say to the BABY “oh you’re being difficult for me today huh?” I didn’t appreciate that - a baby doesn’t have any ulterior motives and just needs support. She didn’t do any light housekeeping without asking and even that - she did a poor job of washing the baby bottles once and when we came back from a trip found that mold had grown inside a bottle. We decided to stop working with her earlier than planned.
