Hi! My name is Jeselia. I'm a dependable and caring childcare provider with experience babysitting and helping families with daily routines. I am CPR and CNA certified which allows me to provide safe and attentive care for children of all ages. I enjoy helping kids learn, play, and grow in a positive environment. I can assist with homework, meal prep, light housekeeping, and fun educational activities. I'm known for being patient, responsible, and trustworthy. I also have my own reliable transportation and a clean driving record so I'm happy to help with school pickups or activities if needed. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where children feel comfortable and parents feel confident in the care their child receives.
Jesselia came to work for 8 hours at my house. She was rude and disrespectful after I paid her with a check at $30 an hour, as she asked for more than she advertised if the tasks are more complicated. Even though the tasks were not very complicated, I still gave her the $30 an hour. Because check cashing places wouldn't cash the check, she called and screamed at me, stating they said the check was bad. Ultimately, she gave me the number to a place and they said they didn't say the check was bad. They told her go to her bank or they thought shr didn't have a bank go to my bank in the morning. She kept threatening to report me if she couldn't cash it at my bank, even though she could cash it in the morning. I even offered to go with her to my bank or on base if she felt more comfortable. She said she would not have worked for me if she knew I was going to pay her by check. But yet, she didn't say that before she started working. She needed to take responsibility and ask, "How are you going to pay me I only take cash." Most people don't get paid for a week or two weeks in the real world. And they always get paid by check or direct deposit. But she hadn't set that up yet. And if she did, it would take a week at least delayed. In two weeks to get paid. During work, she kept talking on the phone and didn't even hear when I asked her if she wanted water, and then she lambasted me for not offering her waters to day. Even if that were true, which it is not, a worker would ask, "Can I have a glass of water?" and take responsibility for staying hydrated. She asked to use the restroom, and when I said, "Yes," she said she didn't need to go. She never used the restroom. She didn't do any cleaning inside the house, which I needed, such as vacuuming, mopping, and dusting. She spent 8 hours organizing 1 cupboard and a pantry, hosing off and sweeping the back porch and cleaning bird feeders, which still are dirty in spots. She took multiple breaks to talk on the phone, or talked on the phone and texted while working, even ignoring me at one point. She left bird feeders taken apart and not reassembled. The person that gave her a 1 star because she canceled, consider yourself lucky.
