I have worked for the league school of greater Boston with Autistic children ages 8-18 in a residential setting, assisting them with personal care, meal prep, homework assignment, taking them out into the community. Before my professional experience working with kids I gained experience from home have two younger sisters one is 8 and the other is 20 who I babysitter lot while we were growing. Growing up my parents both had to work two jobs so that put me responsible for getting my sister ready for school, bathing her making sure she ate breakfast and walking her to the bus stop. I had to be there to pick her up from her bus stop and assist her with whatever homework assignments. As I got older my aunts and uncles would leave their children with me during summer vacation from school.
