About Jerusha

I'd describe my personality as energetic, positive, and proud. I grew up with several younger siblings and I got to be a significant influence in their lives and be a part of the fun moments that give everyone happy memories. I started working with kids when I was old enough to help my mom around the house, I would help clean up the house or watch my siblings at the park down the street. In my spare time, I like to create things! I personally make leather bags or handmade quilts and even stained glass. One thing you should know about me is I was raised in a big family where helping my younger siblings develop was always encouraged, we would play but there was always an expectation to learn how to cook or be studying for classes. My skills include defusing stressful situations, engaging and encouraging social and creative opportunities, helping kids understand the world around them in an age appropriate manner that still makes sense to them.
