About Jeru

I have been volunteering at Daycare centers since I was a teenager. I now work during the week as a lead teacher in the Goddard School for a group of 13 wonderful 2-3-year-olds. I also babysit outside of Care. com, hence the experience with children of different age ranges. Before this I was a lead teacher in NYC at ABC Preschool Woodside for 6 years working with 3-year-olds. I have experience working with twins and siblings. Aside from this I have my Associates in Early Childhood Care and Education and am in school currently for my Bachelors in Human and Family Studies. If hired I do bring my own books, games and toys with me to share with your children. I love doing all sorts of fun arts and crafts, and action songs (ex. Slippery Fish, all Laurie B., GoNoodle.). I also love books and come ready to read all sorts of fun stories. I can meal prep and do light cleaning upon request. For meal prep I have experience in kid friendly meals, gluten free and diabetic meal prep and planning.
