About Jeri

I am a retired math teacher who wants to continue to work with students in a tutoring capacity. Being approachable with good listening skills is what I believe makes a good tutor. I strive to be just that. Students bring a variety of personal experiences so my tutoring style is flexible yet goal oriented. I believe in meeting the students where they are and moving them forward. My experience tutoring has been all at levels from elementary school through college. I have tutored privately, in my role as a mathematics teacher as well as a hired tutor for the mathematics department at Columbus State Community College. In my spare time, I enjoy my position as a Redcoat for The Ohio State University. In that position, I work various sporting events including football! I also work other fun events including concerts.
