Hi my name is Jeri. I have 28 years of experience working with children and young adults of all ages. Most of my experience has been with individuals with both mental and physical disabilities. I also have 2 children of my own with Asperger's, as well as a niece I care for that is on the autism spectrum. Not only have I worked with very young children, but also with individuals that are a little older (mid 30's), but mentally are significantly younger minded. Some were verbal while others were not. Even though I don't currently know sign language I have never had an issue that I felt incapable of communicating with these individuals.
