I'd describe my personality as loving, compassionate, and joyful. I like caring for people with special needs because I have a special needs son, and I have a special love for them. I'm looking for a job that is flexible with my personal schedule outside of work. I started caring for people with special needs when I went to college in 2005, and got deep into the profession in 2007. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my son. One thing you should know about me is that I am a Licensed Practical Nurse. My skills include caring for all individuals, both young and old, in every aspect of nursing care, with 11+ years of experience. Some examples include those who have developmental delays, ADD, ADHD, G-tubes, tracks, catheterization, seizure disorders, and diabetes . I have 20+ years overall sitter/caregiver experience. Some of these skills include preparing light meals, light housekeeping, providing safety measures, assistance with personal care, ADLs and life skills.
