About Jen

I've been watching children since I was about 10, starting with mother's helpers jobs and continuing onto nannying jobs and working with children throughout the years. The family that had the largest impact on me was a family friend with 7 children, 6 being foster children. Each of the 6 having varied degrees of mental and emotional challenges. I've cared for them on and off for over 10 years. Typically I would help them off to school and with homework, teaching them to read and especially tons of fun activities. Most recently I was a fill time nanny for a family in Connecticut. They had one incredibly sweet, smart and fun baby girl. I started with them when she was about 5 months old and she was about to be two when I relocated to Santa Fe, and now Colorado. I loved getting to spend every day with her; learning through play, love and compassion. The absolute best part of any of these jobs is getting to spend time with the kids. It always inspires me to see how amazing they are; so creative, smart, fun and dynamic at every age.
