About Jenny

Jenny was a blessing to my family. Unfortunately, my 82-year old mother had her first severe stroke on 11-Mar-2024. Sadly, in addition to her other stroke symptoms, she was no longer able to walk and she was incontinent, which increased her care needs. When she came home from rehab, my 85-year old father was her primary caregiver. As a result of my mom’s needs and my dad’s age, my husband and I moved in for three months to make sure everything was going well. I hired PT 2x week, OT 2x week, and ST 1x week. Prior to my husband and I returning to our home in Golden, I luckily found Jenny to help my dad care for my mom for several hours, five to six days a week. She made my mom lunch, assisted with PT/OT/ST sessions and homework, changed her, helped her shower and dress, worked on activities such as puzzles and word search, and was a companion. I trained Jenny on a few non-traditional devices we had for my mom; sit-to-stand with safety 2:1 rope pulley system for transfers, and shower chair lift with 3:1 rope pulley system. Jenny was quick to pick up on both of these systems and also taught my family a lot about how to care for my mother. Jenny is a true caregiver and is passionate about taking care of her clients. She is flexible and helped us out in a bind more than once. It was important for me to find someone both of my parents got along with, for me to trust this person in their home, and to feel confident my mother would receive good care. We found all of this and more in Jenny. Jenny worked for my family for nearly a year and a half and cared for my mother to the very end. Thank you, Jenny!
