About Jenny

One thing you should know about me is I'm a good caregiver. I'm an oldest sibling, so I was changing diapers at 8 and babysitting neighbor kids at 11. I've also worked with kids for 8 of the last 10 years. Seniors aren't kids, of course, but the care and vigilance required are similar. I'm a good companion. Whatever the senior wants to do, I'm down, visiting friends, watching Judge Judy, coffee at the restaurant, crosswords, etc. I was an admin assistant for years and am very observant. I can document when meds were given, new or interesting behaviors, or a recap of our day. I'm also patient, maybe not so much with a lawn mower that won't start, but as para, I worked with pre-schoolers and special ed kindergarten and first graders. Patience was an every day requirement and the only way to interact with people who need a lot of extra help.
