I provided companionship , personal & hygiene care, supported medical care at home including wound care and physical therapy efforts. Previously cared for another woman from the age of 84 to 99, managing her needs as they changed while maintaining a warm relationship with her & family. Provided companionship, transportation to medical appts. , social and family events, personal & hygiene needs. My 2 small dogs were my teammates providing love & affection. They can come with me or stay home- your preference. Additional prior experience caring for a woman with ALS & MS for 3. 5 years providing care as her physical abilities declined. Jenny is a remarkable caregiver and I would give her six stars if I could. Here is the story - as the pandemic hit, my elderly mother was in declining health. By 2021 she reached the point where she could no longer take care of herself and moved in with me. In early 2022, I could no longer work from home, so i needed someone to care for my mother while I was away. I experimented with various agencies but it wasn’t ideal. Thankfully I found out about Jenny and hired her in April 2022. She kept my mother safe, clean, comfortable and happy until her recent death (heart failure) at age 94. Jenny did everything for her; she was amazing. She made the last four years of her life as good as they could possibly be. She always made sure she had healthy and delicious food, and oversaw her nutritional requirements. Getting her the right kinds of protein was so important for her well being. They formed a wonderful bond, and my mother always wanted Jenny to stay when her shift was ending. I trust Jenny everything: from my house keys to my credit card- which she used to purchase necessities for my mom. Basically, i trusted Jenny with my mother’s life - and i was never disappointed. SHE IS AN ANGEL. My family is eternally grateful to her. I am happy to provide a more detailed referral to anyone who is considering hiring her.
