I grew up with cats, dogs, and birds. I am married now, and my family consists of my6-year-old daughter, my husband and my 18-year-old son. We currently have two dogs, a foster dog and a lizard. We have a teenage shepherd who loves all dogs, big or small but then I have a picky, senior Shepherd, who only likes dogs up to about 35 pounds. Puppies are the easiest because she treats them like her babies. The reason we want to open our home is because we have a mansion for birds and know how to take care of them, and my daughter wants a cat or kitten but we aren't sure that we want to commit to having one of our own yet but because we don't travel we have plenty of time to care for someone else's when they need it. One thing you should know about me is that my children say that I treat animals better than I treat them. Crazy kids.
