About Jennifer

My primary relevant experience is working with elderly clients as a bilingual (English/Spanish) speech language pathologist in hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, home health, and outpatient clinics. The primary diagnoses I've worked with in these settings include: dementia, Parkinson's, traumatic brain injury, and stroke (among others). I also have experience providing in home care gap coverage for an elderly relative, including: companionship, assistance with mobility and transfers, cooking, cleaning, shopping, organization and management of in-home care team, managing medications and medical appointments, and toileting. I have a current CPR certification and am willing to obtain additional training as necessary. I'm detail oriented, a quick learner, and my priority is relationship-building, connection, and helping clients maintain their sense of dignity. I hope to not just be an employee, but to become an integral part of the team and family.
