After 12 years in nursing, I can say with confidence that in order to receive good care, you have to advocate for yourself. How do you do that when you're sick and alone? By contacting me. I'm here, mainly, to attend medical appointments with you or your loved one, to ensure the following: 1) The patient is treated with respect regardless of age, condition, gender, race, sexuality, etc. 2) The patient understands the plan of care. 3) The patient has up to date and consistent medication records at home, pharmacy, and doctor's offices. 4) All of the patient's providers have records they need. 5) Patients over 65 have a Living Will. 6) Patients are up to date with agreed upon preventative vaccines and screenings 7) All records organized and kept in a binder or scanned onto on a flash drive. Need something different - ask me! *Discounted rates for individuals who need an advocate due to their race or sexuality.
