Hello! I have 15 years of experience in K-12 education and 5+ years experience in preschool along with 3+ years of volunteer infant care. I have been working with Care for about 5 years now caring for children 2 months- 13 years old. I am a National Board Certified Teacher and have been trained in many different teaching techniques as well as child development and psychology. I have experience in literacy education and technology education. I believe in building strong relationships, providing respect and consistency, and ensuring children' needs are met in the best possible way to ensure success. Along with providing educational needs, I am experienced in caring for infants and preschoolers. I am a mom of four grown kiddos, two of which are twins, whom I love dearly. I am kind, compassionate, and loving. I am a nonsmoker with my own reliable transportation and am open to pets. I am first aid and CPR certified.

Jennifer was amazing with my 10-month-old daughter. We were only in Tacoma for a couple of days and she came to the hotel the first day. She sent me a few updates during the day and my daughter had fun with her. Jennifer was flexible with us and allowed me to bring my daughter to her home the second day when we had to check out of the hotel early.  Even though my daughter was in new environments, Jennifer made her feel comfortable and helped her maintain her feeding and nap schedule. I would absolutely use her again. Highly recommend!

Jennifer is the best sitter we have found on Care EVER! She is so good with our newborn and 5 year old. She’s so engaged and attentive and loving and knowledgeable with the baby and our 5 year old gets so excited when she shows up. Best yet, she’s reliable and very communicative. Can’t give enough praise for this sweet woman! 

Jennifer was a wonderful Summer nanny for our three children (3,5,7). She was very prompt, communicative and easy to trust with our children. She listened to what our hopes and wishes were for our children's summer and truly brought them to life. She didn't just care for them and keep them safe, she ensured they didn't loose any learnings from the school year. We will still ask Jennifer to sit for us for a while to come. 

Jennifer has been amazing with our 1 year old. She’s been punctual, easy to communicate with, very flexible with us, and overall just 10/10. 

Jennifer is the sweetest! She is always early, communicative, and our kiddo just loves her! She does nap time and lunch feeds, reads books, sings songs, and is up for any playtime activity. Highly recommend! 

Jennifer is amazing! We have two young children, an infant and a preschooler, and they both adore her. She handles watching both children and tending to their needs with kindness, respect, and an abundance of calm. She plays with them, makes them laugh, and takes care of all of their needs. Shes wonderful, we feel safe leaving our children with her, and we highly recommend her!

Jennifer was wonderful. She was an extra set of hands at our daughter's wedding.  She gave the parents a break so they could partake in the festivities. 

Jennifer was so wonderful! We had a combined job for multiple families for two nights at a wedding. Jennifer was accommodating and able to go with the flow of vacation craziness. The kids all ended up happy and well taken care of - they were all sleeping and happy the next day. If we are in Spokane again we would continue to use her for any needs!

OMG! Jennifer is awesome. She's very punctual and good with kids. I had my graduation and she handled all 4 kids
exceptionally well even with my special kid. I was so worried that my kids would be a handful but she did an excellent job taking good care of  them and ensuring they were safe even with the crowd. I was able to fully participate in my graduation because I knew my kids were in good hands.

My son always has a great time with Jennifer! She is attentive and dependable. We always hire her when we can.

Jennifer was AMAZING!  An absolute professional.  She was faced with 7 kids, three of which were still babies and only one other sitter and she didn't even bat an eye!  When we got home everyone was happy fed and sleeping peacefully which I cant even do most nights!  Really fantastic sitter, she's got this!

Jennifer took wonderful care of my children! They were comfortable with her from the beginning and when I came home from date night, they told me how much fun they had and kept asking when she was coming back. I'll definitely hire her again for the next date night!

Jennifer was able to watch our four year old and five year old on very short notice. She was great and the kids loved her!

Jennifer is amazing. She worked with my son (K) and nephew (2nd grade) on virtual school for 6 hrs/day. She has great experience teaching preschool and elementary school, has excellent references, and is a mom herself to 4 grown kids. She provided structure to the boys to ensure that they completed their assigned work. She did a great job of noticing where they needed extra help and finding ways to enrich their virtual curriculum. Jennifer communicated well with us about how things were going. One thing that I really appreciate the most is that she helped my nephew find joy in reading. Although he started the school year lacking confidence in reading, Jennifer found a series of books that interested him and worked with him to build his literacy skills to a point that he is now more confident and happy to read. Jennifer was also great at setting expectations, rewarding good behavior, and working with the boys when they weren't having a good  day. I would absolutely hire Jennifer again.
