Hello! I have been working in Education for the past 12 years. While I have enjoyed it immensely, it may be time to start something new. I have noticed there is a need in Whatcom County for elder care and I have decided to step into that role. I have always enjoyed the company of older people. I enjoy listening to their stories about the past, playing a card game, taking them shopping or to appointments, and just spending time with them, reminding them that they are respected, valued and loved. I took care of my Grandpa, my Dad and my Mom as they aged and transitioned to the next life! The days spent with them during that time are some of my favorite memories.
