I have watched children for more years than I would like to admit (almost 30 years). I have a Bachelor's degree in Education. I am a substitute teacher at Akron Public Schools at all grade levels (K-12). I have substituted for many Intervention Specialists and have tutored many students with a range of abilities. My range of care-giving spans from caring for newborns when mothers have come home from the hospital, to taking watching children in my home overnight, from three weeks and up. I have also spent a few overnights in a children's hospital, with a friend's child (1-year-old), when she was admitted for a week. Another time, I spent two overnights with a friend's daughter (6 years old) when she broke her leg and had to have surgery. I have worked on a pediatric floor at a hospital about 10 years ago.
