About Jennifer

Energetic, creative, organized, and passionate, I enjoy serving children and families! My responsibilities and accomplishments as an educator, and my own personal education, have provided me with the strong foundation necessary for a childcare position. I have over 7 years of experience serving in diverse roles in the public and private education system. Serving students in the area of Special Education, middle, high, and elementary school, as an educator mentor and tutor. Such roles required collaboration with a diverse group of colleagues within the district, community wraparound services, and in working closely with families. Valuable experience as a summer camp counselor designing activities age an theme appropriate, including crafts, games, field trips, and maintained positive interactions with staff, campers, and with parents. During my bachelors, I assisted in coordinating an educational outreach program for elementary students. An internship with the Stockton's Children Museum, 5 years as a swim instructor, and 8 years employed as a nanny demonstrate valuable opportunities to lead and mentor children and in developing effective, safe, nurturing environments.
