About Jennifer

Knowing I can positively influence a child's life is what drives my passion for childcare. Over the past several years, I've supported families by providing reliable, nurturing care for children of all ages. Much of my experience also comes from being an older sibling to two younger children, now ages 7 and 9, as well as previously working at a children's shelter- both roles that strengthen my patience, compassion, and ability to support kids through a variety of needs and personalities. I am friendly, creative, and calm under pressure. I can communicate with the parents in whatever way works best for them, whether that's quick updates, detailed texts, or end-of-day check-ins. I always follow your household rules and routines to help keep consistency for your children. I enjoy outdoor play, board games, crafts, or reading, activities that are both fun and educational. I am comfortable caring for 2 children at a time, and am trained in CPR and I also speak both English and Spanish.
