Hello! My name is Jennifer, but friends and family call me Jenni. I am a former stay-at-home mom looking for a position doing what I know best - caring for children. I prefer a one on one job with an infant or child, to give them the attention they deserve. I have nurtured my own (now adult) children's curiosity and development. My passion lies in creating a supportive and enriching environment where children can thrive. I hold a college degree in elementary education from NIU. My approach is patient, calm, creative, and friendly. I enjoy reading, board games, and educational playtime that makes learning fun. I have an outgoing personality, and my hobbies include baking and community theatre. I am comfortable caring for one child at a time. I am also very comfortable enforcing household rules. I communicate with parents using their preferred method. Also willing to brush up my First Aid/CPR certification. I am eager to support your family and provide your child with exceptional care.
