I am, currently, happily full time employed. I am always willing to meet families who are looking for occasional child care. I am a CPR/ first aid certified non- smoker who really enjoys spending my day with young children. I have three young adult children of my own. I have a BS in Early Childhood Education. I have worked with preschoolers for over 30 years. I enjoy singing, playing, reading and doing crafts with children. I have been working full time as a nanny for 9 years. Most of my nannying has been with infants, including two sets of twins. I like for children to do hands-on activities. Basically, I like to make them dirty and tired! The small things in life make me happy. I love when a child learns something new. Or, they realize that they can do something that they couldn't do before. I also love babies!

Jen has nannied for our daughter since she was about 4 months old and our daughter is now 19 months old. We can not recommend Jen highly enough. She has been an invaluable asset to our family throughout so many life/parenting stages from sleep-training, to introducing solids, to walking, to talking, to the toddler stages. In every phase, Jen has provided us with kind, helpful, non-judgmental advice, all while taking into account the particular needs of our daughter. Jen has been flexible with us, whether that means staying a little longer than planned or picking things up for the baby that we've let slip through the cracks. The only reason we can't continue working with Jen is because my job has forced us to move and we are heartbroken about it. Suffice it to say, we would hire Jen 100 times over not only because we trust her implicitly, but most importantly because our daughter lights up whenever her "Nenn" enters the room!
