With over 30 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist (1994 MCV/VCU graduate), I've dedicated my life to helping individuals of all ages thrive despite physical or intellectual challenges. My background ranges from high-acuity hospital settings (NICU and Acute Care), home health, outpatient rehab, and skilled nursing facilities to consulting for the Medicaid Waiver Program. I'm a business owner and inventor (ask me about the Bench Buddy Shower Curtain!) with a passion for home modifications and aging in place. Having navigated dementia care personally, I understand the importance of patient, dignified support. Whether it's assisting with daily routines, managing complex transfers, or simply providing respite care so you can recharge, I am here to help. I am a non-smoking Mom and Grandma who loves animals and volunteers with The Arc of Hanover. I am available evenings and weekends, with daytime hours available by request.
