About Jennifer

My name is Jennifer and I recently retired from the Edison Township School District after teaching 8th Grade Language Arts for 29 amazing years . I am the proud mother of two children, a daughter (23 ), and a son (19). When my kids aren't working , we enjoy beach days in Monmouth Beach and spoiling our 11-year-old Westie named Astro . I'd describe my personality as reliable, patient and good- natured. I like working with kids because they keep me laughing and learning. I'm looking for a job that gives me a sense of purpose and is fun. I started working with kids when I was a 15-year-old babysitter. In my spare time, I like to read, do yoga and spend time with my family . One thing you should know about me is that I come with excellent references . My skills include making children feel safe and comfortable and engaging them through structured but fun activities . I am also available to tutor as I am certified to teach K-12.
