About Jennifer

I had many pets growing up and my knowledge obtained from this has helped me with my own pets in adulthood and allowed me to love them so much more. This includes 3 dogs (2 Bostons and a Jack Russel), cats and fish. My pet care experience has stemmed from my own pets as a child and as an adult, as well as helping other family and friends. One of my favorite learning experiences was volunteering for a cat shelter where the majority of cats had complex or other medical needs. I also have 2 cats, one of which has a hereditary disorder called entropion. It has taught me how to care for this specific condition. I have a passion for learning all about how to care for different kinds of pets; I often like to study in my own free time by watching and reading about animal behavior and animal health research.
