I have helped manage the care of an elderly lady with dementia. I have a full staff for 24 hour care for her. I am not an agency, the ladies are all paid directly/individually. I've experienced some really great days and some more rough days with lots of memory for normal routines to complete loss of decades of time. I feel it is important to be supportive and gently remind them of routines so they can still feel independent and as much like themselves as possible.
