New to Austin, from Boston Ma. I have been taking care of children in one way or another for most of my life. In my early 20s as a live-in nanny and an assistant teacher for a special needs preschool. I taught theater to at-risk teens while I was pregnant with my first child, and then I went on to raise my own two children. 
I went back to child care about 15 years ago, working for families on the south shore of Boston before moving to Austin.

Jen took care of our son from 1 to 4 months old. She is very good with newborns- patient, warm, and very maternal. In addition to the stress and lack of sleep that come with a newborn, we were going through a particularly challenging and stressful time as a family. Her care and kindness were a blessing and a huge help.

Jen is always on time, flexible when needed, and a pleasant presence in the house. We immediately felt that our baby was safe with her.


Jen saved us during our 5mo's challenging sleep regression while also caring for my 1.5yr old—that should tell you enough! My oldest can be rather needy and takes a while to warm up to new people but Jen has that touch that made her almost instantly comfortable. We all love Jen!!

We love Jenn! She took care of our oldest for the first year and a half of his life and we couldn’t have been happier. She was extremely thoughtful in furthering his development and providing a fun, safe and warm environment. She took him to many classes, library outings, and local activities all while being very respectful of our wishes and routines. She also took care of our youngest starting when he was 3 months and built a special bond with him as well. Jenn has an extensive background in childcare and any family would be lucky to have her around their kids.  She was flexible with our evolving work schedules and helped out with our dog when necessary. We miss Jenn and wish her the best!

Jenn watched my triplets. Honestly that alone should be the mic-drop. 

She is genuinely amazing and checks every single box that you would ever want/ need/ desire in a nanny and more. We plagued her with every sickness imaginable and would toss every combination of kids at her and she would adapt as needed whether it was “just” the triplets, or the triplets plus our other two children. Jenn has some serious drive and not only survived in the perfect storm that we cast upon her, but she thrived in it. She is always punctual. Willing to help in all aspects. Easy to talk to. And as we are making plans as a family my kids say “is Jenn coming too?” which goes to show you the positive impact she has brought to our family and how much we enjoy her and genuinely appreciate her. 

Jenn is the first nanny I ever hired. Unfortunately we ended up relocating to another state which ended our time with her. And while I am hopeful to find another Jenn where we are now, I know in my heart the bar was set way too high with Jenn. A true Mary Poppins - master of her craft.  

Jenn looked after our two kids, 4 and 8, partial days during our fall break and was so great with our kids. It was unfortunately rainy during our visit but Jenn saved the day by bringing age-appropriate activities ranging from baking to board games to science experiments, in addition to getting them out of the house to museums, etc. We would happily hire Jenn again next time we're in town.

Jennifer recently took care of my 15 month-old son for an extended weekend away. She was extremely kind, engaging, communicative, caring, and responsible. We are so grateful for her care and we are hopeful work together soon as she is wonderful caregiver. I strongly recommend her.

Jenn is a warm, generous caregiver who worked with us and cared for our 3-year-old daughter for over 10 months.  She was wonderful at engaging our daughter's imagination, with play acting, art projects, and playing games. Our daughter bonded with Jenn and really enjoyed their days together. Jenn has incredible patience for the repetitive play-acting that toddlers/little kids really love. Our daughter also particularly loves books, and Jenn took the time to make sure they frequently went to the library and was very thoughtful about the books and materials she brought back to feed L's growing mind.  We really appreciated Jenn's values and the positive influences she brought to our daughter's life.

Jennifer was an absolute delight! She is exceptionally kind and engaging, and possesses a wealth of child development knowledge that clearly shines through in her care-giving. As a stressed-out new mom to a 5 month old, Jen's calming presence was just what our household needed!

Jenn is a fabulous caretaker: kind, attentive, clear, experienced, creative, nurturing.  She understands how to encourage and support children, with good guidelines and boundaries.  My daughter absolutely loves her.  Jenn grounded, fun, and wise.  I highly recommend her.

Jennifer watched our two children for several years. She was always on time and very flexible with our crazy work schedules. Jennifer was very engaged and interacting with our children from reading stories, arts n crafts, cooking or going on adventures. Our kids truly loved their time Jenn and talk about her often!

Jenn is amazing!  She is dependable and works so well with all ages.  She has been watching my children for the last 3 years.  She can adapt to many situations (kids in/out of school, drop off/pick up, etc.) with ease.  She will play all day, bake, or do other fun activities nearby.  She is a great communicator and works well with all ages.  We would keep her forever but the kids are in school more now!
