Empowering young learners to reach their full potential has been my primary focus for the past 31 years. As a Certified teacher with a graduate degree, I specialize in guiding elementary students through Math and Reading. My teaching philosophy centers on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. I adapt my methods to your child's unique style by utilizing visual aids, hands-on activities, and open communication. When concepts become challenging, I bridge the gap by connecting lessons to real-world examples and celebrating every small victory. Nothing is more rewarding than witnessing that "aha!" moment when a student masters a new skill. I look forward to partnering with you to help your child succeed! My area of expertise is young children ages 5-7. I taught Kindergarten for most of my career but am able to teach grades K-5. I look forward to meeting with you!
