About Jennifer

I have years of experience with dementia care, total care MS, ALS, and traumatic brain injury survivors. I use music and positive, affirming conversations to encourage those I care for. Experienced with hoyer and sling, wound care, personal care, catheter care, assistance to the blind, non-verbal patients, hair and nail care. Some tracheostomy care experience, as well as gastric feeding. I'd describe my personality as observant, respectful, and helpful. I like caring for seniors because everyone deserves dignity and honor. I started caring for the disabled when a friend invited me to join a team in my neighborhood caring for a woman who had rheumatoid arthritis and blindness. In my spare time, I like to read, walk, and jump on my trampoline! One thing you should know about me is that I am low drama. This is about the client, not me.
