About Jennifer

My name is Jen and I'm a Social Worker by trade who spent 10years as a Nanny (birth-3yrs) while going through school. I loved it. While I'm open to various methods, I support a strengths-based, secure attachment style approach to child care. I do baby sign language at the parents request as well as developmental focused games and tasks. I'm familiar with feeding, bathing, dressing, play time, engagement with nature and animals. I don't mind doing light cleaning and laundry for the child as well as dishes and tidying up. I was a medic in the Army (2016-20)and am comfortable in emergency situations. I usually re-certify my infant CPR and any other relevant trainings before taking a job as well. I have 4 cats and 3 dogs and an aging mother in the suburbs who are my life.
