My previous position was working in a day program for developmental youth. I helped provide educational and vocational support through many different programs, such as functional literacy in math, writing, and reading, healthy exercise and diet, effective social and communication behaviors, and cultural arts. I would also transport students to and from programs. I mainly worked with kids ages 10-15, but, I have also worked with children ranging from ages 3 months to 15 years old. But mostly I just love kids and truly enjoy caring for and teaching them. *****UPDATE***** I HAVE BEEN WORKING WITH A FAMILY AS A NANNY FOR 10+YEARS!! I AM SO LUCKY TO HAVE FOUND THIS FAMILY AND NOW THEY SEEM LIKE MY EXTENDED FAMILY. HOWEVER, THEY ARE MOVING AWAY IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF MONTHS SO I AM SEARCHING AGAIN I PREFER A MON-FRI SCHEDULE, BUT I CAN BE FLEXIBLE WITH TIME OF DAY.
