I've been a caregiver for 34 plus years. The majority of that was spent caring for a C-5 Quadripolegic until she moved to Oklahoma. The last 4 years I have been caring for a young man who is physically and medically complex. His family has moved back to the Houston area. I have experience with a G peg feeding and changing. Experience with catheter care and changes. I have experience in ROM, ADLs, bowel routines, skin care, positioning, 1 and 2 person transfers, and medication management. I also have experience with dementia and alzheimer's in the elderly. I am dependable, punctual, honest, patient and caring. I am immediately available. My preferred availability is M-F 6am-6 p.m.  but I have flexibility outside those times and days.

My mom is very kind and loving. She's dedicated and loyal.

Jennifer is a compassionate, dedicated caregiver. Having known her for over 20 years, there isn't anyone I'd rather have caring for my loved ones. She's knowledgeable in her field and will do whatever it takes to get the job done.  She's known for building lasting, trusting relationships with former clients.

I think it's important to preface this review with this: I am her brother. As a sibling of mine the past 47 years you can imagine our relationship has had many interesting ups and downs. It always amazes me how people develop over the years. My sister is an exception to this as she hasn't changed much. You see, she takes after our mother who spent her entire career in the servitude and care of others. The same can be said of Jen. She is an amazingly caring and giving being, sister, daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and caregiver. She has devoted her life and career to the idea that "I have the ability to help and I must." Unbeknownst to her, she gave me the strength and wisdom to modify my behavior to model hers. Everyday: no less than one act of kindness, find an opportunity to pick someone up (figuratively) And take nothing personally as we all have things we're going through. Unfortunately this forum has a character limit I am rapidly approaching. I could go on for volumes.

Jennifer cared for my sister who is a C-6 quad for 24 years until my sister moved from Texas. During those 24 years Jennifer's care was exemplary. She went above and beyond to insure my sister's health and safety.  She showed dedication, compassion and ingenuity in good times and bad.  She bonded with our family and we literally trusted her with my sister's life as we all live out of state.  Any one in need would be hard pressed to find a better healthcare provider.
