About Jennifer

I am a mother of 4, special educator, and elementary teacher who is looking for part-time employment as a tutor and care provider. Between teaching, babysitting, and respite care, I have over 25 years of experience in the education and caregiving field. I am comfortable working with all ages, including children and adults with mild to severe disabilities. My strengths as a tutor are reading and writing for preschool and elementary students and life skills/job skills training for students in special education (all ages). I'm organized, reliable, and full of energy. As a homeschooling mom, I am always looking for teachable moments, field trips and experiences that support classroom learning, and unique ways to introduce children to academic material. I can work with your student alongside my own children or meet with them separately for 1:1 instruction.
