Why do I love working with seniors? My senior friends share SO much knowledge and share so many life experiences it's such a privilege. Games! We play games for days!! Monopoly, card games, board games, playtime is real and real fun! Cooking... oh, the things I've learned and look forward to learning. I have had the honor to care for my own parents, my 2 aunts, grandmother, and my nephew. I have worked with Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, NHL, pancreatic cancer, spinal cord injury, esophageal cancer, and all the foibles and the triumphs associated with ANY battle, recovery, care, and treatment of each condition. Hair loss, medical nausea, night sweats, vision issues, hearing issues, frustrations, heart aches, and too many to list. Friendly support and competent care is where it's at.
