About Jennifer

Hi, I'm Jennifer! Working with children is one of my greatest joys. As an elementary teacher, I love helping kids learn, create, and build confidence through fun, hands-on activities. Whether we're making art, baking, exploring nature, reading together, or playing outside, I enjoy creating meaningful experiences that inspire curiosity and joy. I'm kind, patient, dependable, and committed to creating a safe, nurturing environment where every child feels valued, supported, and encouraged. I started working with kids when I became an aunt at the age of 5 and I wouldn't change a thing! Child care has been engrained in me from a young age, and is why I chose to pursue a Masters Degree in the Art of Teaching with a focus on Early Childhood Development. One thing you should know about me is I have taught Kindergarten for 4 years in Charleston, SC. After moving to Louisville, I taught 1st grade my first year and Art my second year for grades K-5.
