About Jennifer

I'm a passionate educator with 20+ years of experience as a military spouse, which has given me adaptability, resilience, & a deep appreciation for helping others. I hold a MAT in Elementary Education, teaching licenses in both Washington & Colorado, & math endorsements for grades 6-8 & 7-12. Currently, I tutor students & especially enjoy working with middle & high schoolers-the age group that many shy away from, but where my passion & strengths truly shine. Outside the classroom, I'm an active parent of two teenage boys & involved in their school activities, from band & robotics to leading the after-prom committee. My ability to connect with students comes not only from my professional training but also from years of supporting teens in both academic and extracurricular settings. Whether it's building confidence in math skills, preparing for exams, or helping students see the subject in a new light, I bring patience, encouragement, & a genuine love for teaching to every session.
