Hello families. I'm currently working with an amazing family in Westwood (kids ages 3 and 6) but the little man is going to school in July, so I'm hoping to start with a new family around August 1st. I'm a former teacher and mom to an amazing 7-year-old, and I get great joy out of helping children develop and grow into the world around them. I'm patient, empathetic, calm, nurturing, creative and loving. I love working with infants and toddlers particularly, but am totally comfortable with kids of all ages. I am writing this review on behalf of Jen with whom I hired to care for my 10 month old son. Jen possesses many strengths, however, I am most taken with her ability to attune to my son and understand right away what he is needing. Jen is astute and smart. She has the capacity to think intuitively and make sound judgements and decisions in the moment. She always asks for help when she needs it and she runs things by me which I really appreciate. She can often be heard singing to my son, and laughing. Jen is extremely warm and caring, allowing both children and adults to connect with her quickly. She works diligently to meet our needs and has always been dependable and reliable. It has been a pleasure to work with Jen as she is a wonderful caretaker and she is incredibly invested in her work. I'd hire Jen over and over and over again ! We love her and will miss her dearly. I know she will love her next family just as much, and for that you are extremely lucky if you end up hiring Jen
