About Jennifer

My experience caring for others started with me caring for my grandmother. She was wheelchair bound with Dementia and Parkinson's. I took care of her in her home and as she declined I moved her into my home. She was with me for over 3 yrs and I cared for her 24/7. Duties included companionship, feeding, help with hygiene, transferring, re-positioning her every 2-3 hrs to remain free of pressure sores, transporting her to doc visits, ordering/admin her meds, making sure she was safe/comfortable and meeting with nurse/home health care for weekly visits. I cared for my grandma in her final days with the help of hospice, so I have exp with hospice process as well. After she passed I took care of a woman with Dementia & Parkinson's in a assisted living for 2 years and currently caring for a woman in memory care for the last 4 yrs so I have exp in assisted living/memory care setting. I have great references, my BA in Psychology. CNA & CPR Certified! Currently half way through nursing school!
