I have 1 child who struggles with being intellectually delayed with autism, adhd, ODD. I understand life can be challenging. I also have other children (teens). As a nurse I have done feeding tubes, wound care, blood sugars, blood pressures . I do not have an active license however I do have experience. As a mom of a child with special needs I handle melt downs, creating distractions, being firm yet gentle as in expecting them to do what they can and helping when I see they are needing that hand.
