I have grown up in a family that has always had a dog, Our last dog was a Golden Retriever and had to be put down due to having cancer. I understand that pets are truly members of your family, and are to be treated with as much love and attention as you do a child! I have not had much dedicated "pet position," but most of my nanny and babysitting positions have involved also caring for pets. The "pet positions" I have had included overnights with multiple animals for weeks at a time. Dogs and cats would be let out 3-5 times a day and had various feeding schedules. Jenn was a wonderful nanny. We hired her when our daughter was about 5 months old and she worked with us on a full-time basis for just over two years. Jenn is friendly, professional, efficient, conscientious, responsible and reliable. Her role involved general supervision and care including meals, changing (and more recently, helping with potty-training), playtime & playgroups, naps and baths. Jenn also managed the nursery, handled our daughter's laundry and kept us apprised of day-to-day needs including wardrobe, supplies and groceries-though she occasionally would pick things up at the market for us, as well. Jenn would occasionally work evenings and weekends, and was also very helpful when she traveled with us. She was a tremendous help to our family. We recommend her highly.
