About Jennifer

I have been babysitting children of family members and friends for years. I also worked in a daycare for about 6 months. During that time I worked in the 2-year-old room. What sets me apart from the candidates who have been babysitters and daycare workers, is that I have also worked for 3+ years in a residential facility for children. Most recently I was a FT nanny for 2 kids (one with special needs) for 2. 5 years! I have a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. I have a MBA. I am a high energy individual with tons of ideas for making learning and activity fun for children. I am creative and love spending time coming up with new ways to get involved with the children. I love reading and would certainly encourage that in any child I care for. I am also quite outdoorsy, as I love camping, kayaking, swimming, biking, football, and basketball. I am a self-taught guitar and ukulele player, and have a love for all types of music.
