I use to take care of an adult with Down syndrome. She loved to swim so we spent out time swimming at the YMCA. She needed help dressing and undressing and showering after swimming. I have my own experience with children who have ADD/ADHD, I cared for a 4-year-old who was on the autism spectrum. I myself along with my son have Tourette's syndrome so I know how to handle that as well. I have experience with children with speech disorders. My son had a major speech delay so I learned a lot in helping him with that through a speech therapist.
