A family that I had worked for 3.5 years, has a 5-year-old daughter with Rett Syndrome and a 4-year-old son. I was her nanny since she was 7 months old and I was there when her brother came home from the hospital. In that time, I have seen her through her developmental delays, early intervention, diagnosis, doctors' appointments, physical, occupational, speech and hippotherapy appointments. I administered her medications. She has had seizures in my care. She needs help with feeding, getting dressed, going the bathroom, walking with assistance. I have changed my major at school because of her and have done many assignments either for school or on my own to spread the awareness of what Rett Syndrome is. With all of that, I would take care of her 4-year-old brother who is the best little brother a sister could have. He is the kindest and most patient brother and I love both of them and miss them so much.

Jen has cared for our two children (1 and 3) full time. I cannot say enough about what a wonderful provider she is. She is incredibly reliable. She constantly was seeking out fun activities to do with the kids - cooking, playgrounds, the beach, etc. My kids love her like a family member.
