About Jennie

I am a graduate from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor with a Bachelors of science degree in Psychology. Since freshman year of High School, I have been interested in working with kids and have been volunteering with a church and their various kids programs. I was a Sunday school teacher and club leader for the ages between 2-6 years. I have occasionally babysat throughout the years. While attending college in Belton, I came across a great opportunity to volunteer for the McLane Children' s Hospital. For the last year and a half of my undergrad career I spent various hours shadowing child life specialists and assisted them in various tasks. I have also worked in a preschool as a specialist teacher at Children' s Learning Adventure before moving here. I enjoy caring for children and I am aware it is a challenging but very rewarding job. I have and will always make it a priority to care for the child/children that are under my care to ensure all their needs are met.
