I connected with Jennah, regarding a sitter position I posted. Her profile listed a starting rate of $8/hour. After interviewing in person and introducing her to my child, I offered $9/hour, which she accepted along with agreed-upon schedule. However, shortly after leaving the interview and confirming her start date for the next day, she messaged me requesting $15 instead. While I understand rates are subject to change, I value transparency and professionalism. Sudden changes can be disruptive.
