About Jenna

Having worked in a multitude of settings with children, I have years of experience within classroom settings working with children from ages preschool through pre-teens. I have experiences working as an afterschool care teacher at Mater Christi along with working at an integrated therapeutic school called Black Bear Academy in Ravenswood Chicago which included neurodiverse and neurotypical children. Along with classroom style care, I have experience with one-on-one babysitting, as well as my academic interest in developmental psychology. I interned at the Center for Comprehensive Neurobehavioral care in Chicago, Illinois in 2022 in which I sat in on neuropsychological testing with youth. In addition to this, I have two years of experiencing working with D. R. E. A. M where I worked directly with a community of children and their families (ages 5-18) who experience socioeconomic hardship along with some sort of trauma. D. R. E. A. M wants to bridge the opportunity gap for these youth.
