About Jenna

I'm glad to meet you! I am a multi-passionate educator with four years of professional experience. I have worked with children from 18 months to 18 years, from nannying in Georgia, advising in Detroit children's homes, and teaching in the mountains of Japan. I am seeking an opportunity to mentor and teach children in a child-lead, interest based style. Of course adventurers must always be prepared for danger, so I come equipped with CPR, indoor and outdoor safety, and first aid certifications in my tool belt. I'm an eclectic lifelong learner and see teaching opportunities everywhere. My background is in trauma informed care, outdoor education, and early childhood development. I have my CDA certification and am studying social psychology with a focus on cultural anthropology. I speak N5 level Japanese and am a collector of hobbies, such as cooking, fitness, and illustrating. I look forward to learning more about you and your family!
