Hi there! My name is Katie and I'm 28 years old living in Brooklyn. I've done caretaking for children, young adults, and senior citizens with a wide array of needs. I've worked with children who have Autism and ADHD, young adults who had mobility issues and needed physical caretaking in addition to companionship and then I've worked with senior citizens with Dementia and Alzheimer's who needed help with feedings, bathing and getting dressed, getting to and from appointments, assistance with repositioning and using walkers or wheelchairs. I'm a compassionate individual who grew up with a cousin who has severe non-verbal autism and I've worked in the nonprofit industry with one of the former organizations I worked with being steeped in early childhood development and psychology; something I've always been really interested in.
