About Jen

Empowering elementary students to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching practice. With 10 years of experience and a graduate degree, I am a Certified teacher dedicated to fostering a genuine love for learning. I believe in building confidence through personalized support, whether we are tackling Math, Science, or developing essential study skills. By actively listening and adapting my methods--from visual aids to hands-on activities--I ensure every student develops critical thinking skills for long-term success. I prioritize open communication with families to create a collaborative environment where every "aha!" moment is celebrated. I am comfortable working with pets and happy to meet at your home, the library, or online. Helping a student transform a difficult concept into a mastered skill is what drives me, and I look forward to supporting your child's academic journey.
