As a seasoned parent of two teen boys with Autism I understand the need for affordable care. My two boys are now ages 16 and 18 years of age. My oldest is severe non verbal, aggressive and has a host of medical issues, my youngest is now very high functioning and now completely self sufficient. My experience with the spectrum is both ends. When my boys were young toddlers both were randomized in studies under Dr Cathy Lord, UC Davis Mind institute and UF. Through the studies as I parent I was given almost 4 years of parent training on best practices of ABA teaching, behaviors, behavior management and positive reinforcement strategies. Since exiting the studies, my oldest has received ABA for the last 16 years and still receives today with that benefit, I still receive parent training under a BCBA. I understand the complexities of parenting a child with high needs and can utilize my experience to bring you peace of mind so you can enjoy a few hours of respite.
